Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) abatement equipment reduces UPI’s NOx emissions both on land and at sea. The KMCAL and the Acid Plant have seen emission reductions up to 90% and our four ship fleet that delivers hot bands from Korea was the first SCR application on marine vessels in the world.
