CONTRACTOR SAFETY

All contractors working at UPI’s facility are required to understand and abide by the Company’s safety rules and procedures. Before such contractors may begin working on site, they must attend UPI’s “Contractor Safety Orientation” and pass an exam that is designed to verify their safety preparedness. In addition, UPI continues to monitor contractors while they are working on site in order to ensure that they are complying with the Company’s safety requirements. If at any time UPI concludes that a contractor is not adhering to such requirements, the Company will immediately take appropriate corrective actions, which may include barring the contractor from UPI’s facility.
